Allow for being on the bus most of the day

点评：I know writing a review here will make no difference, as KTEL would never bother trying to improve anything. But hopefully this will make other travellers think about their plans when on Kefalonia.
Firstly, there is no such thing as a timetable here. It only shows the departure times. No mention of routes, stops or duration. So, for example, if you think you might take the most direct route from Argostoli to Fiskardo, think again. Google maps said 40 mins but of course being a public bus you'd expect it to take a bit longer. Nearly 3 hours later we arrived! The only bus back was at 5pm so having left at 10am we just about had time to have a meal and then take the 3 hour trip back! It went all over the island, waiting 20 minutes at Sami to pick ferry passengers up, only for no ferry or passengers to arrive. The bus driver makes a day of it, chatting to his acquaintances at each stop. No toilet on board. This was typical on other journeys too. The guys who sell the tickets are conservative with information and don't really like being asked questions. A shame as the scenes from the bus are stunning, but KTEL can't take that as a plus point!
