点评:It had been a decade or more since I'd visited. I wanted my husband to bring me back for my birthday. We came on a Sunday at noon, and it was not very crowded. The grounds and Lily house were all decorated for Halloween, and it was beautiful. We enjoyed all of our visit...the tropical plants in the greenhouse, the mansion, the grounds, the art exhibits.... We explored the 2nd and 3rd floors, which took us 2 hours. The rest of the grounds took us about 1.5 hours. We didn't go to the beer garden, but might someday. I wasn't sure the staff was supposed to interact with us, until we were almost finished. A wonderful knowledgeable man named Bob Yee ( i believe) came up to us in the Asian exhibit, and taught me so much. He was so nice. I learned about Ming, Tang, camels, burial norms, etc... He made my day. Oh, parking was plentiful and free. We didn't pay extra for the 4th floor celebrity " art" exhibits. That seemed kind of like just a way to make them money after they lost their appeal. If we had grandchildren, we'd definitely bring them down to see the Halloween lights at night.
