Confirmed 5-night stay cut short by Hoseasons at the last minute

"We had a confirmed booking (Ref: 40637355) for a lodge for 8 adults and a dog for 5 nights (6th–11th April). We even received a final confirmation email on 28th March.
However, just 7 days before we were due to travel, Hoseason's contacted us to say the park could now only offer 4 nights. Their 'solution' was for us to pay the full 5-night price for only 4 nights' stay—which we found completely unacceptable or to look for an alternative on their Booking site which we tried but with 8 adults and a dog with travel limited and a Bank Holiday we could not find a suitable alternative.
We requested a full refund due to their breach of contract which to be fair arrived promptly. We have now booked elsewhere and won't be using Hoseasons again." When you are booking a large party it may’be a good idea to check your accommodation is available, this caused myself a great deal of stress dealing with this on behalf of not just ourselves but 3 other couples as well, trying to find an alternative at short notice to suit all is not easy, Buyer Beware!!
