点评：I’m a 68 year-old woman with arthritis in my hands. I booked and paid for a 7-day rental after being impressed with their website and knowledge of cycling the Camino as a solo female. The website said that their bikes are delivered “fully serviced and ready to ride.” I emailed to get details right after booking and it was then that I learned that the bike would be delivered by a transport truck (date, and time could not be given) and that I would need to uncrate it and do some assembly. I’d also need to deal with or save the packaging. When I told them that absolutely couldn’t work for me, at the risk of injuring my hands, they said that I should’ve bought cancellation insurance and refused to give me a refund. Later, they said that they could find someone to unbox and assemble it for me, but by that time it was too late. I’d had to secure another bike because I was leaving on my trip in a few days. Within 24 hours they took €325 and gave me zero in return. I had to come home a few days early because that loss wasn’t in my budget. This was a once in a lifetime trip. I write this so that others know what they’re getting themselves into before they trust and hand over their money.
