点评：When you arrive in the port with a tender from the cruise ship, you have 3 options to go up the hill; the cable car for €10 one-way, a donkey on a path making a lot of turns, or walk. The cable car is definitely the easiest and most comfortable. When we arrived there was no line, so we paid the € 10 fee one-way fee per person and went to the number of the cabin which is on the floor. The arriving passengers get out, we got in, doors close and up you go. It is a short ride, and not bad at all but a lady in our cabin was screaming every time the cabin lowered a bit after passing a pole. After walking in Santorini we took the cable car back. You need to pay again, as it is not possible to buy a return trip. It is also possible to buy tickets in advance on their website, which I tried but didn’t work with my bank. For the very short ride it is expensive, but it saves you the climb up and down the hill on the path the donkeys use. The views are great when in the cabin, so look outside.
