白宫的点评
点评：we visited both the White House and the People's House museum. we parked using spot hero and got a parking spot in a garage that was about a 5 minute walk to the White House and under 10 minutes from the People's House. we enjoyed both tours. we waited almost 6 months to get our tickets to visit the White House. you have to go through your local representative through email. the security is very tight, no drinks, snacks, purses etc. you go through 3 different security stations including a metal detector and a bomb sniffing dog. THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS , but there is a McDonald's close by, just Google it. the line for the White House starts at the statue of General Tadeusz Kosciuszko which you can find on Google maps. we had very little wait time to get in.
the tour only took us approximately 15 minutes but was very interesting. you could spend much longer if you'd like . you could see men constructing the arena for the big UFC fight coming up. as we were walking by one of the guests commented "why is the President having that here"? to which the secret service agent in the room replied " because that's where President Trump wants it" LOL very funny and a good answer. after exiting the White House we went to the People's House museum. that was also very cool. they have a miniature set-up of the White House, some replica rooms, hands on displays and a gift shop. it's free but you need timed tickets to get in. so happy we got to visit during President Trump's tenure! overall it was a very cool experience.
