点评:Confusing situation. I had called a few times over a couple days to inquire on booking our family of 6 to make some seaglass art / jewellery, with no answer. The answering machine said the owners names or business, etc…
I arrive in person to ask,(by myself) and the woman said I should’ve called to make an appointment. I told her I’ve been trying to, but haven’t gotten an answer or return call. She then says I had the wrong phone number. I didn’t argue, even though I knew I didn’t.
She was acting strangely aggressive & angry and tells me she has no time. Then asks the husband if he has somewhere to go. He looks confused for a second, then agrees and grabs his keys. She then says she’ll be alone, so she can’t do it.
I had asked, won’t we be able to see if anyone comes in? She then swears at me and leaves the store, going through the door into her house. (I assume) A strong unwarranted reaction, especially towards someone seen as soft spoken.
So disappointed in this. Maybe there are some mental or physical health issues at play here? In any case, please don’t have your sign as ‘Open’ if you don’t want paying customers.
As a family of 6 with young ppl with us, we were interested in buying some souvenirs as well.
Why chase away customers for no reason….
