Used to be good for disabled
Ayr Seafront Playpark的点评
点评：Went today Friday 4th Sept. Wanted to go in the disabled car park but got turned around into the congested streets with traffic from the Old Racecourse which was also turned out as not yet opened, as it didn't open until 3.45pm, we arrived 3pm.
Went back 3.45, parked up & couldn't find a way out of the car park onto the promenade as I was on my mobility scooter and there were barriers across the street. Eventually someone on the path also on a scooter directed me right back to the speed bumps where I was then able to get onto the path.
First stop was the 1 disabled toilet which I was not able to use as it was closed off. Did make it onto the green where there was a few portaloos and 1 disabled. The path was much too high for me to get up and along the path which I could have used there were about a dozen volunteers all over the pathway.
We went to some stalls, £9 for a burger, got a lovely catalogue from the Typhoon team and thankfully found a loo at last.
We ended up going back to the car as the rain started plus it was so windy we felt sandblasted. My fear of not being able to find a toilet (medical issues) overwhelmed me so ended up coming home, sadly will not be going back tomorrow 😢
Last year we were on the disabled platform which was perfect but sadly weather prevented this. It would be perfect if there were a few portaloos in the disabled car park & volunteers could help with advice instead of just looking away.

后来雨开始下起来，风也大得仿佛在用沙子打磨皮肤，于是我们只好回到车里。由于我担心找不到厕所（有健康方面的顾虑），这种焦虑感压得我喘不过气，最后只能回家了。可惜明天也没法再去了😢
去年我们使用了无障碍设施区，体验棒极了；可惜今年天气状况不允许我们这么做。如果在残疾人专用停车场里能设置几个移动厕所，并且志愿者们能提供帮助和建议，而不只是漠然旁观，那就再好不过了。
