Finally Made It to the Point!!

点评：Since I am in my grandma coaster years, I decided to finally get to Cedar Point! Overall, I enjoyed it. They have a pass program where you can visit both Cedar Point AND Kings Island with free parking at $145 for the entire summer. Even on a week long vacation, it was a good deal.
Pros: even at my advanced age, I was able to do 8 of their 16 coasters. My favorites: Rougarou and Raptor (I'm a B & M fan). Rode my first giga (300 feet up) on Millennium Force. Gatekeeper: I thought it would be like Dollywood's Wild Eagle, but was much more intense! Other rides I liked were Cedar Downs, the Skyride, and the steam train which circles the park. Absolutely loved the Windseeker - so smooth and peaceful with great views of Lake Erie. Also rode Blue Streak, Magnum XL 200, and Gemini. The thrill seekers in our group liked the tipping coaster, Siren's Curse, and the Top Thrill Dragster 2. I know my limits!
Got sick on Iron Dragon (too much swaying). The infirmary staff was so nice and it was great to just lay down for 15 minutes! I saw many people laying down on benches....they have a lounge but you have to have preferred status to go in it. I did not like that idea.
Since we were touring Ohio and headed to King's Island in 3 days, we stayed at the Red Roof Inn. With this huge park, it would have been nice to be able to rest for a few hours and then return in the evening. I am glad I did this tour when I did it as my rebellious stomach will not allow it in the future! Overall, a very nice park especially for adventure seekers. These rides push the envelope! Go on a weekday if at all possible....early in the summer/late spring.

由于我们正在游览俄亥俄州，三天后还要去国王岛，所以我们住在红顶客栈。有了这么大的公园，如果能休息几个小时后再傍晚回来游玩该多好啊。我很庆幸自己在合适的时间体验了这次游玩项目，因为以后我那“叛逆”的胃可不会再允许我这么做了！总的来说，这是一座非常不错的公园，尤其适合喜欢冒险的人。这里的游乐设施简直挑战极限！如果可能的话，尽量选择工作日去……最好是在初夏或暮春时节。
