点评:We stepped into this small Murano glass workshop simply out of curiosity. I already knew a little about Murano glass and wanted to see the pieces they had on display, but the experience turned into something completely unexpected.
As soon as we entered, the owner welcomed us and offered to show us around the workshop. It’s a very small, authentic laboratory, and he took the time to explain the tools, the furnaces, and the entire process behind their work. We were there with our kids, and he made everything incredibly engaging and child-friendly. He showed us how Murano glass beads are made, how the glass is worked and cut using water, and explained each step in a way that completely fascinated them.
What made it particularly special was how personal it felt. It was just the five of us in this tiny workshop, with the owner giving us his full attention, sharing the history of the shop, his craft, and the traditions behind Murano glass.
We ended up buying something, but there was absolutely no pressure to do so — the visit itself was already such a wonderful experience. It felt much more like being invited into someone’s craft and story than simply walking into a shop.
A fascinating, authentic little place and one of those unexpected experiences that makes a trip memorable. Especially wonderful with curious kids. Strongly recommended!
