Funicular de Sant Joan的点评
点评：Return journey was included as part of our Trans Montserrat ticket (covers all transports option…. Includes round-trip train from Barcelona, Rack Railway/Cable Car, unlimited use of both funiculars (Sant Joan, but the Santa Cova wasn’t working), and Metro access).
Had to wait about 20mins to get on one going up…. This saves the 200m+ elevation gain walk. Journey easy.
Confusing bits at the top, as we wanted to do the 2km return to saint Jeroni…and missed the turn initially… basically go right before you leave the building… 98% of people will go left… see picture. This hike is superb, with spectacular views of valleys, and early stages a head on view of Montserrat. Later stages of walk are a bit more tricky, but can be done with good-gripped trainers or sturdier shoes…
