Disappointing, not advertised accurately and abrupt staff.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary的点评
点评：I mean this in a kind way because I respect what the sanctuary does. The goal is to protect the animals which I fully support.
We came as a family of five and the money we paid for entry basically went towards supporting the facility and nothing else.
What I mean is that the sanctuary is advertised as somewhere you can visit to see the animals that are cared for there. And that is why we came.
I am glad our admission will support the work there but I feel it is misleadingly advertised.
We saw a sum total of three animals - one rabbit and two ducks. I am not being sarcastic.
Everything else was hidden from view (I appreciate the animals are free to move away from public view and they should be. But no animals were in their enclosures).
Some of the sanctuary staff were incredibly abrupt and rude. Even though there were no signs to indicate not looking in an enclosure they screamed at my children and actually scared them. The children were not in a closed off area at all and were simply following the way round as per the map.
The cafe is pretty but the staff do not understand neurodivergent people at all and were condescending when asked about some of the specifics of what they serve. I felt belittled. The pricing is also excessive - charging almost £6 for a small slice of cake is absurd.
On a positive, the man in the shop where you pay for entry was incredibly kind and fully understanding.
And dogs are allowed on site which is helpful for those with dogs.
All in all a very disappointing visit.

值得称赞的是，负责收取入场费的店员非常友善且善解人意。场地内允许带狗进入，这对养狗的人来说很方便。
总的来说，这次参观令人非常失望。
