点评：October 2026. Travel as a 67 year old couple, with 'Badar' as our guide (and owner of Panorama Travel). Travel from top to bottom in Oman (except the Musandam due to Trump). Muscat, The opera house, Sohar, Jebel Shams, Jebel Akhdar, Nizwa, Wahiba Sands, Sur, Masirah island, Duqm, Empty Quarter, Salalah and up to the Yemen boarder. Travelled 4,300 Km on roads and tracks in 16 days. 'Badar' has encyclopedic knowledge of the history, culture and wildlife of Oman, and excellent English . I worked in Oman from 1986 to 89. It has developed immensely; old towns now much bigger, new towns and roads that did not exist 40 years ago. It is still as beautiful as ever in the deserts and mountains. Accommodation was a good standard with swimming pools at most, all meals provided and the menu was varied and extensive, Omani, Lebanese's, Syrian, Turkish, outstanding seafood at a very reasonable price. Alcohol is at your own cost, in the hotels that serve it. If your idea of a holiday is to fully delve into the country, then this trip and company is for you. If you want to spend half your time at the hotel swimming pool, then use someone else. Ten out of Ten for service, and the Programme.
