点评：Having lived in Switzerland for a few years, Brienz has always been high on my list of places I desperately wanted to revisit. Sitting on the shores of Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland, this small town is utterly breathtaking.
The absolute highlight is the water—a striking, surreal turquoise-blue fed by glacial alpine meltwater. Arriving via the Lake Brienz cruise from Interlaken is hands down the best approach, gliding past stunning alpine vistas and setting the stage before you even dock.
Beyond its natural beauty, Brienz has a rich cultural soul. Traditionally famous for woodcarving, the town boasts a long history of skilled craftsmen, and a well-regarded carving school still operates here today, adding an authentic, historical depth.
